Sai Wan Jetty is situated on Cheung Chau in Islands District. At present, Sai Wan Jetty, Cheung Chau is mainly used by passengers of the kaito ferry service plying between Cheung Chau Public Pier and Sai Wan Jetty.

Tin Hau Temple at Sai Wan was built by the local fishermen before 1929 for worshipping Tin Hau goddess. Since 1995, fa pau competition here has transitioned to a lottery-based selection. Inside the temple, there are two distinctive pediments, and the roof is adorned with exquisite Shiwan ceramic decorations. It was rated a Grade 3 historic building in 2010.
Cheung Po Tsai was a pirate in the Qing Dynasty. It is said that he had hidden his treasure in Cheung Po Tsai Cave.
If you walk towards the east of Cheung Chau, you can reach Tung Wan Beach. On sunny days, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Southern District on Hong Kong Island. Keep heading southward, you can find a group of Bronze Age rock carvings, a declared monument featuring stylised geometric patterns, some resembling human or monster forms. Further ahead, you can come across Kwun Yam Beach, a windsurfing centre which attracts many water sport enthusiasts.
Pak Tai Temple, built in 1783 by the villagers, is one of the oldest temples in Hong Kong. It hosts Cheung Chau Jiao Festival, which was recognized as the third national list of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2011. The festival features the challenge where competitors battle one another to climb “bun towers” and claim as many buns as possible.
