Peng Chau Public Pier is situated on Peng Chau in Islands District. At present, Peng Chau Public Pier is mainly used by passengers taking kaito ferry service between Peng Chau/Trappist Monastery and Discovery Bay, and those taking licensed ferry between Mui Wo and Discovery Bay (via Peng Chau) on school days.
Learn moreAfter disembarking, follow the Peng Chau Family Walk to go and you will find Ngan Chau Tsai Pavilion, which is also known as the “edge of the sky and corner of the sea”, at the far end of Peng Chau. Standing on the island's easternmost point, the pavilion offers a panoramic view spanning from Lamma Island, the western part of Hong Kong Island, to Tsing Ma Bridge and Hong Kong Disneyland.
Lung Mo Temple, located next to Tung Wan Beach, was built in 1971. It is the largest temple on the island, worshipping Lung Mo, a Chinese goddess of water among the local fishermen.
Built in 1792, Peng Chau's Tin Hau Temple has a long history. The temple, which celebrates the Goddess of the Sea, is a Grade 2 historic building in Hong Kong. A bronze bell inside the temple dates from the 18th century. A stone tablet, erected by local fishermen in the late Qing dynasty can also be seen outside.
The factory was constructed in the early 1930s. It is a Grade 3 historic building and has been revitalised and transformed into a colourful “secret garden”, with artistic graffiti and creative installations made from chairs, bottles, and tyres.
